Two New Bonuses Announced by UnitedHealthcare

UnitedHealthcare has announced two broker bonus programs beginning April 1, 2022.
 
The first bonus is on fully insured and level funded new business and retention sales, mirroring a bonus program that ended earlier this year. It’s available to California brokers who sell groups with up to 100 eligible employees. A minimum of 10 employees must enroll for Group Medical effective April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023.
 
New sales bonus: $100 bonus for each enrolled employee in an eligible group sold during the bonus period.
 
Renewal bonus: An additional $100 bonus per enrolled employee if a qualifying group renews coverage the following year. Another bonus of $100 for each enrolled employee will be paid if a qualifying group renews for a second time in the subsequent year.

A bonus on new, fully insured Harmony Medical also starts April 1, 2022.
 
This $100 bonus for each enrolled employee is available to California brokers who sell Harmony to new groups with up to 100 eligible employees. A minimum of 10 employees must enroll for coverage effective April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023. The maximum bonus for an eligible group (or collection of affiliated groups) is $10,000.00.
