The August Tech Team Updates offer more news you can use concerning Ease, the online enrollment platform for health insurance brokers working in the 2-250 employee marketplace.
 
EOI Connections

• Automated EOIs: Evidence of Insurability records (EOIs) are automatically pushed to the carriers for Unum and Guardian.
• Non-Automated EOIs: All other carriers need to have EOIs manually submitted.

 
Open Enrollment Superstar: Become an Open Enrollment Superstar by watching the video on how to quickly verify your Open Enrollment is set up correctly. Sign in and read the instructions.
 
Custom Rate Import: Custom rates may only be imported for Life, AD&D, Critical Illness, and select others. View the full list and download templates.
 
Q4 Libraries: All fourth quarter rate libraries have been updated in Ease. Get your Q4 groups in and updated early.
 
Ease Quick Tips
The procedure to view employee eligibility details to determine why an employee is – or is not – eligible for plans:

• Click on the Group.
• Go to Employees > Benefits > Enrollment.
• Click on Actions > Eligibility Details.
• Choose Plans or Plan Types to filter results.
